It was a clear, cloudless night and the wind was blowing in their favor. Not too far away, a coastal town still had some lights on, but few since most people were asleep by now. Anna was leaning against the edge of the ship, looking at the small town -their next victim. She and her brother had lived on the ship for three years, since the death of their parents. They hadn't had much of a choice other than to take up the bad-reputed occupation of piracy. Since they usually worked hard for the ship and its crew and did well on raids, Anna's brother, Kiba, had recently been made captain.

(You can have Jounouchi, Honda and someone else on the ship if you want, and Ryou and someone else in the village. But you don't have to listen to me.)

(Actually, I think I'll go with that.....)
Ryou sat boredly just his home. The village was a nice one on the coastline, and not much ever happened there.
(Sorry...can't come up with anything)

"How much longer 'till we get to the town?" Kiba called to the lookout. "About five minutes," the man called back. "Alright, you all no what to do, so be prepared," Kiba said to the rest of the crew.

Honda and Jounouchi glanced at eachother and laughed heartily. It'd been a while since they'd been on a raid.

As promised, they arrived at the shore in about five minutes, though they docked in a nearby cave. Silently, they left the boat, torches in hand and weapons on their belts, splitting up into two different directions; one group going along the coast and the other going around the other side of the town.

Ryou blinked as he heard people nearest the coast begin to scream. He looked out the window and saw small orange flecks of light-- Most likely torches.

The pirate went through the town, taking anything of value, such as monet, jewlery or food, then burning the buildings once they were done with them. They didn't kill any of the people themselves -other than with the flames that the buildings were engulfed in- unless they needed to. Anna entered a house, in which someone was awake and began to stuff valuables into a bag.

Ryou sighed in annoyance and let fly a knife in the girl's direction. "I've worked hard earnin' all that y'know." he said bluntly. "I'd appretiate it if you'd drop it and be on your way...." he said. Of course he was being sarcastic, he didn't really expect the girl would simply comply with the request.

The knife flew past Anna and stuck into the wall. "Well if you really want me to leave, then I will," she replied, looking at Ryou. She'd already picked up anything valuable that she'd found. She picked up her bag and left the house, setting it ablaze once outside.

Ryou tried to put out the flames for a moment, but it was no use. He retrieved the knife from the wall, and grabbed a few other weapons before rushing out of the place. Once outside, he bent nearly double from coughing. The smoke from all the fires was getting to him.

Once all of the buildings had been set on fire, the cutthroats began to head back to their ship.

Perhaps, simply out of anger, Ryou followed them, taking his best care not to be seen. Given the chance, he would see their ship ablaze....

Once everyone was aboard the ship, Kiba gave the order for them to lift the anchor and set sail. Though the others were happy about a successful raid, Anna had a bad feeling like something hadn't been taken care of.
