It was Anna's birthday and she was at Kaiba Corp. filing papers. "Why should I have to work on my birthday?" she mumbled. "No one's even wished me a happy birthday yet!"

There was a knock on the door. "Anna? We're here to steal you now!" came the voce of Ryou. He'd come along with Honda, Jounouchi, Sugi- who was up stairs, getting Seto- and Kiba, who they'd left in the car.

"We figured we should come get ya, instead of ditchin' you with Kaiba all day!" Jounouchi added.
"Yeah, but Sugi went to drag him along, anyway." Honda pointed out.

"Why don't we just head out? I'm sure Sugi will have dragged Kaiba down soon." Ryou said as the group stood in the hallway.
"Aww come on! Have some fun? Just for once...?" Sugi asked, standing close behind Seto, and attempting to dump him out of his seat.
"Okokok! FINE! I'll go! Are you happy now?!" he asked.
Sugi grinned. "Absoballylutely...."
Seto muttered something under his breath, but never even finished before he was grabbed by the arm, and almost literally dragged off down the hall and to the stairs.
(You can say the explosion happens in your post, if ye wants.)

Once the group had somehow piled inside Kiba's car, they drove off.
Arisu had been at Kaiba Corp, to see Seto about a robbery that had occured at the building, but upon hearing that she'd just missed him because he had been dragged off somewhere by his 'friends', she left to go back to the police station.
That's when it happened...
Without any warning at all, there was a large explosion from inside Kaiba Corp. This explosion led to several smaller ones and the building began to crumble. The scary thing is, the others hadn't gotten very far and just barely escaped...

Seto stared wide-eyed out of the window at the large, now crumbling, building. "H-Holy....shit...." he said quietly. The others were also looking in shock at the thing. The vibrations must have been felt for miles.
"D-Did it just....?" Ryou stuttered.
"Y-yeah...." Sugi answered with a nod.
Honda stayed silent, jaw dropping slightly.
"There were a whole bunch a people in there!" Jounouchi said loudly.

Anna stared wide-eyed at the building. "To think, we were just in there not five minutes ago!"
Kiba glanced at the building in his rear-view mirror. "What the hell?" he said in a low voice.
"Dear God!" Arisu said in horror as she continued to drive away from the building she'd been in not long ago.

"I never thought somebody would actually try to...kill me....." Seto said softly.
Bran made a small 'eep' noise as he took off at a dead run, not wishing to be crushed when the building came down. He'd just been out wandering when the explosions went off. He only slowed down after seeing a car in the middle of the street.
(Wait...Kiba's not driving still, right?)

(He was, but he could be pulled over if it'd work better that way.)
Kiba had stopped in the middle of the road and stared at the building.
"D-Don't worry, Seto. W-We don't know for sure that s-somebody tried to kill you. I-It could've been some sort of accident," Anna said to reassure Seto.

Seto nodded dumbly. "Uhh....right....multiple explosion accident...." he said.
Sugi blinked. "Wow....This means....Anna just saved Seto!" she said.
Jounouchi nodded, still looking at the bulding. "Or you did for dragging him along..."

"Hey wait a second....Don't we know that guy?" Jounouchi asked, pointing to Bran, who'd by now stopped running and was just sort of walking tiredly.
"I think I saw 'im at school." Sugi said.
