When I'm bored, I make songfics...
My Last Breath (Harmony & Harry)
“I’m sorry,” she said softly, looking at the ground. After a few seconds, she also said, “Take the Fire Emblem. It’s too nice of a ship to go to waste.”
Harry glanced back at her. “What…What do you mean ‘go to waste’?” he asked softly.
“What good would it do for me if I’m dead?” Harmony replied.
Harry turned around, his eyes wide. “What are you talking about?! You’re not going to die!”
Holding my last breath
safe inside myself
are all my thoughts of you
sweet raptured light it ends here tonight
Harmony’s eyes went wide as the bullet pierced her chest. She staggered for a second with her hand over the newest injury, and then fell sideways.
Ron looked up. “Harry! You’re alive!--uhhnf!” Harry had knocked his brother onto the ground. He’d hit him so hard that he actually passed out.
After that, Harry knelt down near his friend. “Harmony! Please don’t die! I’m here now!”
Harmony smiled weakly at him. “Have I a choice?” she asked in a voice that was hardly audible.
holding my last breath
safe inside myself
are all my thoughts of you
sweet raptured light it ends here tonight
Using all of the energy she could muster, Harmony slowly put her hand on his, gripping it lightly. “I’m…sorry…Harry…” she said in a voice slightly lower than a whisper. Her partially opened eyes seemed to go blank and her grip on Harry’s hand loosened.
Harry twitched slightly as he looked despairingly down at her. “Harmony…? Come on, don’t—“ he paused, swallowing hard. “You can’t leave me! Not now, please…!”
say goodnight
don't be afraid
calling me calling me as you fade to black
holding my last breath
safe inside myself
are all my thoughts of you
sweet raptured light it ends here tonight
Because of You (Cursed Memories)
me to me atte soshite kotoba wo kawashita
(eye to eye we met and then, after that some words were exchanged)
mune ga takanatte egao de kakushita
(my heart was throbbing hard in my chest -- with a smile, I hid it from you)
kimi wo shiranakatta goro ni modorenaku narisou de
(because it seems I can't go back again to the days when I didn't know you at all)
Bakura was about to deal the final blow when he stopped. Turning his back on her, he sheathed his sword. “I won’t kill you…not just yet, anyway…You could be helpful…” He whistled for Adil to come closer. The horse obeyed and walked over to his master. He grunted and nudged at Bakura.
Bakura patted him, then, without turning, he said, “Can you get on? Or do I have to put you on him?”
“I think I can get on, but why should I trust you?”
Bakura shrugged. “Either chance it with me, or bleed to death in the middle of the desert…Your choice, girl…”

(now it seems I can't go back again to the days when I didn't know you at all)
His face went serious. “If something goes wrong and I do die…Don’t go insane…Keep living and forget I was ever even alive…Just keep away from Atemu so you won’t share the same fate… Do you understand?!” he said, almost glaring at her…
It broke Akilah’s heart to hear that. She couldn’t even look at him, much less answer him. Forget about him? Try to live a normal life?
aenai jikan ni omoi ga tsunotta
(anytime we could not agree, I asked you for what's on your mind)

(never got a word out of you, and it hurt me right to the heart)
kimi wo shiranakatta koro ni modorenaku natte ita
(that's when I could not go back again to the days when I didn't know you at all)
Akilah completely ignored Atemu. Tears were pouring from her eyes. “Don’t die, Bakura! Please don’t.”
Bakura wiped away some of her tears. “I thought I…told you…not to cry…about me…”
“Please get out of here, Akilah…S-sayonara…” Those were the thief king’s final words before he closed his eyes and went limp…

doushite tokidoki yasashiku narenai

doushite tokidoki konna ni kurushii
(how is it that from time to time, it can get as painful as this)
doushite itsudemo konna ni itoshii
(how is it that all of the time, can be quite so lovely as this)

Field of Innoscence
Anna stood there, frozen how she was, her gun still raised to where Seto’s head had been. For a second, she just stood there, silent, then she put her head down and started crying.
As soon as Ryou had put his hand on her shoulder, Anna dropped her gun and flung her arms around him, burying her face in his shoulder and sobbing harder than ever. “Ryou!”
Where has my heart gone
An uneven trade for the real world
Oh I... I want to go back to
Believing in everything and knowing nothing at all
Meanwhile, Anna lay on the floor, eyes wide-open. She listened to the screams of her village, every one of them seemed to echo in her ears. Then she recalled a conversation that she'd had with her teacher just before they'd left.
Her teacher had walked up to her and said, "Are you absolutely sure about this?" though not as if he were afraid. "It's the only choice we've got, isn't it?" she'd replied. The teacher sighed. "It'll be impossible -almost suicidal- to try and save everyone." Anna had snapped back, "Do you suggest we leave someone behind? I refuse to do that!" Never raising his own voice, the teacher replied, "Alright. You're old enough to make your own decisions. I'll trust you. I just hope you don't regret it."
Where has my heart gone
Trapped in the eyes of a stranger
Oh I... I want to go back to
Believing in everything
”Ryou, I’d never had a friend other than Kiba before I met you. After he left, I was left alone, and never really knowing what having a friend was like, I got used to it; but now that I’ve met you, I can’t go back to that! And knowing Kiba, he probably won’t stay in one place for very long, and after my parents died, you’re all I have left. I need you! You make me feel how nothing else does. Compared to you, everything else is unimportant!”
Ryou blinked and nodded slowly. “I-I’m sorry, Anna…” he said in a low whisper. With an unreadable expression, he lay back, staring up into the rain. “I’m so…sorry to leave you, Anna…! But…I know you can make…due…without…” he trailed off. The rain had slowed itself to only a fine drizzle. Ryou’s eyes never closed. They remained half-open, as well as his mouth. He had been about to finish the last part of his sentence when his body gave up on him.
