It was a sunny day and Anna was at the park, not really doing anything... (I had no other way to start this...)

There was an awkward yell as a boy scrambled up a nearby tree. A dog had chased him up it, but the animal quickly lost interest in its catch and left. Ryou panted heavily, making no move to come down yet.

Looking up at Ryou, Anna said, "Wow. I've never seen anyone climb a tree that fast. Mind if I try to break your record?"

(D'oh! I thought we'd decided they didn't know each other yet...Oh well.)
Ryou gave her a small glare. "Oh...You hush...! I had to get away from that...that monster!"

(No. No point now.)
"Aww...foo...." Ryou said, crossing his arms over his chest. His look hardened as a frisby flew by and hit him soundly in the side of the head. His eye twitched slightly, then he just sort of fell backward. He flailed his arms momentarily for balance, but failed. He fell back, hooking his legs on the branch to keep from coming all the way off. He hung there comically, arms once again crossed over his chest, and he was glaring at the world. "This...hurts...."

(I already modified it. Now it could seem like they don't know eachother.) "Um...If you let go, I could try to catch you?" she suggested.

"I think I might get down myself." Ryou answered. He let go, and, doing a swift, and amazingly lucky - for him, anyway- flip. He landed on his feet, but the force sent him to his knees.

Smiling, Anna clapped a bit. "Nicely done," she said cheerfully.

"Yeah? My knees and legs aren't saying the same..." Ryou said, whincing at a small twinge of pain ran through him.

"Yeah. You need to bend your knees a bit more when you land. I learned that the hard way," she said, walking over to him.

"Well, I don't exactly plan on making it a habit to fall out of trees everyday." Ryou said, standing up. "Well, um...do you have a name, or are you just a random tree connoisseur?"

"I haven't been here long. I just moved here about a month ago. What about you?" she asked, trying to form some sort of conversation.
