"No, it's okay. I've been through worse, trust me." She stood up and almost lost her balance. "It's probably just a bruised rib, that's all. Come to think of it, my head doesn't feel too good either." She added the last part as somewhat of an afterthought.

Ryou nodded, but still offered her an arm for better support. "I think it best if you just go home and get some rest." he said, the rain picking up pace a little.

Anna took his arm. "Fine, if you say so."

Ryou smiled , beginning off to Anna's home. "What exactly were you thinking when you tried to climb all the way up there, Anna?" he asked, laughing.

It hurt to laugh so she tried not to. She just smiled instead. "I'm not sure, really. When I was younger, I used to do things like that all the time. I'd get urges to go into random caves, cross rivers on logs, climb trees and I never knew why, I just wanted to. But I guess I'm not as small as I used to be."

Ryou smiled softly and nodded. "Maybe not." He laughed. "I've moved a lot myself, but I'd never had any 'adventures' like you say you have." he said.

"That's probably because you haven't been to some of the places that Kiba and I have. We had to find some way to entertain oursellves."

Ryou nodded. "Most likely. Even though my father was an archaeologist, I never got to go with him anywhere. The only 'adventures' I could name are playing sandboxes and playgrounds." he said, smiling.

"Well, at least sandboxes and playgrounds aren't as dangerous as quicksand and rainforests. I could tell you so many stories of when Kiba had to save me from one thing or another."

Ryou smiled happily. "I can tell your brother really loves you." he said. They were pretty close to Anna's home now.

"Yeah. That's what brothers are for, right?" she said smiling again. "We used to be so close..."

"I'm sure you still are." Ryou said quietly as they reached Anna's door. "Well, this would be where I leave you, right?" he asked.

By this time, Anna's hair was dripping from the rain. "Yeah, I guess," she sighed. "I'll see you later."

Ryou nodded and waved. "Bye Anna!" he called as he began to walk off. He too was soaked, but he didn't mind. It wasn't very cold anyway.

"Bye" Anna walked in through the door and laid down on the couch, not even taking her jacket off first. She fell asleep almost instantly. Apparently, she was more tired than she had thought.
